Water Softening Process
Hard water enters the water softener system. As it passes through the resin inside the tank, the hard water minerals are attracted to the resin and the water is softened to service the home. A Regeneration Process happens when the resin becomes saturated with hard water minerals and the water softener system automatically goes into regeneration. This is the process that frees the resin of hard water minerals, making it ready to soften the water again. Brine water is drawn into the tank and rinses the hard water minerals off the resin and down

What is Reverse Osmosis?
Reverse Osmosis (RIO) is a state-of-the-art water treatment process in which water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane that has very small holes or "pores." Clean water passes through and impurities that are too big to pass through the membrane are left behind and flushed away. This is the same process used by many major water bottling companies.
